foundations for feeling well
The foundations-first framework for tired, busy humans who want real answers, simple action steps, and early wins they can actually feel.
Monthly Resets starting on the 1st of each month/live Q&A
Created by Dinah Kleyman, MS (Nutrition & Integrative Health), NTP, RWS
A lot of people end up stuck in the same cycle:
Body changes that won’t shift, even when you’re doing “the right things”
Constantly starting over every time life gets busy
Most advice adds more complexity. More restrictions. More confusion.
It is built for busy seasons—short lessons, clear steps, no overwhelm.
I use functional labs and targeted supplements in my 1:1 work when it’s helpful. But I’ve found that most people feel noticeably better when the foundations are in place first—then anything we add is more targeted, more personalized, and more likely to work.
This course gives you that baseline first, so you’re not endlessly adding things without clear feedback.
If you’re exhausted and thinking, “Just tell me what to focus on,” you have two options:
TIER 1: THE FOUNDATIONS ($249)
The full course, resource library, and community support. Self-paced, lifetime access, and everything you need to build your foundations and start feeling better on your own schedule.
TIER 2: THE PERSONALIZED PATH ($375) Most Popular
Everything in The Foundations, plus a 60-minute private coaching session where we look at your specific picture and build a clear starting point made for you. If you have recent labs, we can look at those together.
Note: this session is a focused coaching session, not a full clinical intake. If you're looking for a comprehensive health history workup and ongoing care plan, you can learn more about my full 1:1 practice at dinahkleyman.com/one-on-one.
Either way, the goal is the same: early wins, clear priorities, and a plan you can actually live with.
Most plans fail because they ask you to do too much, too fast—without teaching you how the system works.
Too many changes at once
If you change ten things, you don’t know what helped—and you can’t sustain it.
Rules without context
“Do this / don’t do that” doesn’t help if you don’t understand what your body is responding to.
All-or-nothing pressure
If the plan only works when life is perfect, it isn’t a plan. It’s pressure.
This isn't a detox.
It isn't a protocol.
It isn't all-or-nothing.
The difference is the method: first-principles + lazy experiments + a simple way to interpret your own feedback.
You’ll start this course with a simple baseline in Phase 1 (Ignite) to get traction first. Then in Phase 2 (Sustain), we’ll use Lazy Experiments™ to personalize what you’re learning in real life.
I call them lazy experiments with kindness. Because you’re living a real life, and lasting change usually doesn’t come from overhauling everything at once. This can be as simple as noticing a pattern for a few days (like cravings spiking when you skip protein or sleep less). Or it can be a small shift you test—protein at breakfast for 3 days, 5–10 minutes of outdoor light for 4 days, or a short walk after lunch. The point isn’t perfection. It’s clear feedback.
It looks like this:

The foundations taught in this course are often where support begins for people navigating:
A lot of people notice early wins like:
Highly recommend working with Dinah! I love how personalized the feedback is for our family and lifestyle. I feel like I have a clearer path on what my next steps are in regards to my energy levels and exhaustion.
Dinah was incredibly helpful in reviewing recent bloodwork and explaining it in a way that made sense. She gave me clear guidance on the foods and vitamins I should focus on, and her knowledge of how the body responds to stress, nutrition, exercise, and circadian rhythms really stands out. I’ve already seen positive results from her recommendations — highly recommend!
Foundations for feeling well
Everything you need to implement the foundations—so you’re not left piecing it together alone.
Inside each module, the content is broken into short, topic-based videos (learn one piece, apply it, move on), so it doesn’t feel overwhelming. You’ll also get a downloadable Resource Library with 30+ handouts + 200+ recipes designed for real life: low-energy weeks, cravings, busy schedules, and common digestive discomfort.

I have learned to be kinder to myself through the process and to give myself permission to slow down in order to be a better version of myself.
Working with Dinah has been amazing. She is very passionate about what she does and it shows in every conversation we have. She is great at breaking down all her recommendations and explaining why they are important. She provides a safe space to ask questions and grow while also supporting you to make the necessary changes to reach your goal.
A simple baseline (meals + light movement + circadian rhythm + nervous system support) so you get traction and stop restarting. Monthly Reset begins on the 1st for anyone new—or anyone who wants to revisit. You'll walk away with:
This is your education/experimentation phase, which includes seven modules. Go through the foundations in order (upstream → downstream) and use the Lazy Experiments at the end of each module to personalize what you’re learning.
The content includes:
Module 1
Most people never think to connect light to their hormones, their weight, their cravings, or their metabolism. But light is one of the most powerful biological inputs your body receives every single day. It is not passive. It is not optional. And most of us are getting it completely wrong without knowing it. You'll learn:
Module 2
Sleep starts long before bedtime. This module helps you understand what sleep is actually responding to, so you can shift evenings without making it a whole project. You'll learn:
Module 3
Hydration isn’t just “drink more water.” This module helps you understand hydration as an energetic + mineral process, so it actually feels consistent. You'll learn:
Module 4
Digestion starts in the brain. This module connects the dots from stress → nerves → stomach → gut—so reflux, bloat, and “random” digestive symptoms make more sense. You'll learn:
Module 5
Fats aren’t just calories. They’re communication. This module teaches you how fat quality and balance affect your whole system, without fear-based rules. You'll learn:
Module 6
Steadier fuel changes everything. This module helps you stabilize energy, cravings, and mood without tracking your life. You'll learn:
Module 7
Intuition is hard when your system is dysregulated. This module helps you rebuild trust with hunger, fullness, and satisfaction, without turning eating into a mental battle. You'll learn:
The recommendations you made have made a huge difference. It’s so much easier than I thought to eat healthier, and my diet has changed a lot. Protein and fiber are definitely priorities now and I feel fewer sugar cravings. My digestion started getting better within the first week and I’ve had much less bloating, more energy, and my weight seems to have stabilized! I think about you often because I’ve taken so much from our sessions and applied it. Thank you so much! It feels like my health is a lot more in control now.
Beginning the program I felt sluggish, tired, bloated, constipated, overall “not healthy.” I have done Whole30 before and removed just gluten for a small period of time. I now feel more energized, organized, and even more calm! I loved the course! I was a little knowledgable about making healthy food choices, but this course taught me so much more than just food. The food information combined with encouraging movement, meditation, and prioritizing mental health really makes this a sustainable program. This program introduces you to basic, easy to follow information that gives you the confidence to make sustainable lifestyle changes. I really appreciated the chapter on digestion because that is one area I have never thought of needing to change or pay attention to. I also really appreciated the tie in on how to change other "non-food" aspects of my life and the community aspect.
Run the baseline for 4-6 weeks (doable version). Track 3 signals.
Go through the modules in order, using the Lazy Experiments prompts as you go.
If something helps, keep it. If not, tweak and move on.

I created Foundations for Feeling Well because I kept noticing something frustrating: the information people actually need isn't in one place.
Some of it lives in nutrition. Some in sleep science. Some in digestion. Some in circadian biology and metabolism. And the pieces that matter most are either glossed over or taught in a way that's too complicated to actually live with.
But here's what made it personal.
For as long as I can remember, going all the way back to childhood, I was tired. Not in a way that raised any flags. Just a constant low-level fatigue and mental fuzziness underneath everything I did. I assumed that was just how life felt. It was all I had ever known.
I looked fine on the outside. Always thin, which gets read as healthy. Nobody looked closer. Labs were filed away without discussion. Meds were prescribed without explanation. Something was recommended, I followed it. I had no framework to question any of it, and honestly, no reason to believe I needed one. Everything came back "normal". As far as anyone could tell there were no symptoms. They were just... me.
Then I became a new mom and something shifted. I started getting curious in a way I never had before... about what I was eating, what actually supported health, what I was going to pass on to my kids. I started reading everything I could find. Dozens of books on nutrition, wellness, health. And what I found instead of clarity was clutter. Confident voices contradicting each other everywhere I turned. And without realizing it, the obsessive pursuit of eating right led me into orthorexia, an anxious and rigid relationship with food that the wellness industry handed me while promising health.
The shift came when I stopped collecting information and started understanding the foundation underneath it.
The fatigue I had carried my whole life lifted. The fog cleared. I had energy I did not know was possible for me. I went from someone who had normalized feeling half-alive to someone who finally understood what well actually felt like.
That experience is why I went back to school, became a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, gained certifications in hormone healing and gut health, earned my Master's in Nutrition and Integrative Health, and built my practice around this work.
And somewhere along the way, through my education and continuing to dig deeper even now, something clicked that had never clicked before. I finally understood the why. Not just what to do, but how the body actually works at every level (including the ones that rarely get talked about, which is honestly a shame). Once I had that, everything else fell into place. I could figure out the root of an issue no matter what the symptoms or diagnosis looked like. I knew what to listen to and who to trust because I had the foundation to filter it all through. The noise did not disappear but it stopped mattering as much.
And what I kept watching happen in my clients mirrored everything I had lived—but faster, because they finally had a map. People who had been exhausted for years suddenly sleeping through the night. Those who had tried every diet finally feeling steady and satisfied. Who had been searching for answers for years finally having language for what was going on and a clear path forward.
The transformation is not subtle. It is the kind that makes you wonder how you lived the other way for so long.
Most people don't need more information. They need a way to filter information. A way to stop spinning, understand what matters, and start feeling better.
In my private work, I spend a lot of time teaching these foundations because once people understand them and run a few small experiments, they feel noticeably better. This is not information you can just piece together from books and blogs. It draws on perspectives that rarely show up in mainstream wellness spaces, a level of clinical skill that takes years to build, and an approach that is grounded in first principles, physiology, and real evidence. Not trends. It bothered me that this depth of education was so hard to access. So I built a place where it isn't.
This course is the version I wish existed: the operating system first, so everything else finally makes sense.

want personal support?
The course gives you the full framework. But if you want a real conversation about where you are, what you're noticing, and what to focus on first — that's what the Personalized Path is for. We'll talk through what's coming up for you, look at any labs you have, and leave you with a clear, personalized starting point.

FAQ
How long do I have access?
Lifetime access. Go at your own pace.
When does the Monthly Reset start?
Monthly Reset starts on the 1st of each month inside the Telegram community. You can enroll anytime and jump in right away, then join the next reset when it starts.
How long does it take to get through?
Most people spend 4–6 weeks in the Start Here baseline (that’s where the “traction” happens), then move through the education modules at their own pace. You can binge the videos quickly, but the course works best when you learn one piece, apply it, and let your body give you feedback.
Is this a meal plan or protocol?
No. You’ll get a simple baseline and food guidelines to help you get traction (especially in the Start Here phase), but it’s not a rigid meal plan or one-size-fits-all protocol. The goal is to give you structure, teach you the “why,” and help you test what actually works for your body in real life.
Do I need supplements or tests?
No. The course focuses on foundations first. You can layer extras later if needed.
Is this beginner-friendly?
Yes. You don’t need a science background. Everything is taught in clear, practical language with visual frameworks, then immediately applied through the small experiments.
Will this help with weight loss?
Many people notice body composition shifts when their foundation inputs improve, especially sleep, light timing, stress load, digestion, and blood sugar steadiness. That said, weight loss isn’t guaranteed and it’s not the only signal of progress. In this course, we focus on regulating the system (rhythm + fuel + repair) so your body can stop running in “stress mode” and start giving clearer feedback. Often, when the body feels safer and more regulated, appetite, cravings, and energy become easier to work with, and weight can follow.
What resources are included?
You’ll get a full resource library to make this easy to implement: Lazy Experiment trackers, quick-reference guides, meal templates, recipe ideas, module handouts you can revisit anytime.
What if I’m exhausted and I don't know if I can commit?
That’s the point. We start with the smallest doable step.
Is this course vegetarian or vegan-friendly?
The course is built around a protein-forward, nutrient-dense food framework and includes animal foods (meat, eggs, fish, and collagen-rich foods). If you’re vegetarian or vegan, you can still learn a lot from the foundations education and the “how your body works” framework—but a big part of the traction comes from the food structure, so it may not feel like the right fit.
Do I have access to you?
Monthly reset calls wil be held via zoom where you can ask any questions you might have.
I’m perimenopause/postpartum. Will this still apply?
Yes. These seasons can amplify symptoms because hormones change how your body responds to light, sleep debt, stress, and blood sugar swings. The foundations still apply. You’ll just run smaller lazy experiments and focus on what supports steadiness first.
I have IBS / reflux. Will this address that?
This course isn’t a treatment plan, and I can’t promise outcomes.
But yes, digestion is one of the core foundations we teach. You’ll learn the upstream pieces that often influence symptoms (nervous system state, meal timing, reflux mechanics, bile, motility, light + circadian rhythm) and you’ll run small, trackable experiments to see what your body responds to.
Do I have to change my diet?
No—you’re not being put on a rigid meal plan or a strict “never eat that” list. You’ll get clear food guidelines and simple plate-building to help you feel steadier (energy, cravings, mood), and you’ll adjust based on what works for you in real life. Most people end up making a few changes naturally because they feel better—not because they’re following rules.
Is this medical advice?
No. Educational only. Always follow your clinician’s guidance.
Get the framework. Run lazy experiments. Keep what works.
